Can Culture Be Bought In the Gulf ?

Submitted by Munira I. Maladwala, Apr 4, 2007 10:48

Progress should come inside out, the Arab world is going about it the other way. They should, I feel, first improve the education system to an extent where it inculcates the right values and pride in ones history, and acknowledgement of ones shortcomings and mistakes, and equip oneself with knowledge to overcome it. First teach your next generation to be proud and righteous human beings and then go about building the tallest towers or biggest shopping malls etc.etc. Learn to respect humanity not superficially but genuinely.
