I just saw a listing for this particular performance and a part of me wants to see this performance and another part of me doesn't. Perhaps it touches too closely to the world I live in. Being a freelance dancer with small companies is tough and just pulling through just for those few moments on the stage for when you get to perform the work you've been rehearsing so diligently on in the studio (which you paid for out of your own pocket) is worth it.
