Prof. McWhorter fails to mention that in Ohio, all county election boards are bipartisan. Is he suggesting that the Dem board members were complicit in trying to suppress the Black vote? One explanation for the long lines in some districts was that surges of late registrations pushed the turnout above what was expected, and machines are allocated quite some time before the election.
Allegations of shenanigans were investigated, and almost all were debunked.
