Autumn in Chappaqua With Hillary
in response to reader comment: Re writing history.

The beginning of the Clinton administration in 1993 had Hillary and her trusted Rose Law Firm fellow attorneys running the Department of Justice. Then, the Waco debacle killing over 80 people including three dozen women and children which could have happened to any president under the control of then Brig. General Schoomaker, assistant commander of the First Cavalry Division, who was a career long Special Forces soldier. It is interesting to note that Brigadier General Schoomaker received his first star under Secretary of Defense Cheney, a fellow classmate at the University of Wyoming, and after three years of retirement was hired to become the Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army by Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld who did not know the man. The acting Secretary of the Army Brownlee at the time of Schoomaker's Army's Chief of Staff out of retirement was a University of Wyoming alumnus and Cheney, a former University of Wyoming classmate of Schoomaker. Although, Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld hired General Schoomaker to be Army Chief of Staff in 2003, in a magazine interview given to Time magazine, General Schoomaker stated that he did not know Rumsfeld. Cheney and Rumsfeld have seen to be joined at the hip since Rumsfeld hired Cheney in 1969 as Rumsfeld was in charge of that very successful price controls program of the era [a little dry humor there]. Interesting to note that General Schoomaker is the only Department of Defense military man to have an incomplete biography on the Internet posted by Pentagon or allied sources as Schoomaker's service with the 1st Cavalry Division has neither a beginning nor an ending date. Immediately after the 1993 Waco debacle, it was Jaime Gorelich who was hired immediately for damage control at the DoD by Hillary Clinton to prevent any future Department of Defense fiascos particularly killing people on American soil. So, while many conservative and Republican commentators, particularly at the NRO, state that Jaime Gorelich's "wall" was the pathway to 9-11; quite to the contrary Jaime Gorelich was hired as general counsel at the DoD by Hillary Clinton to instill a culture that the DoD would not cause any future embarrassments to that administration with the military acting against people on American soil. A culture was established at the DoD that the DoD would not get involved with people on American soil. In no person was that "culture" further reinforced than in General Schoomaker himself. When, current Congressman Curt Weldon (R-PA) in the late 1990s was one of the main forces behind "data mining" in the DoD, General "Hugh" Henry Shelton, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, signed an order to establish ABLE DANGER. By coincidence, the commander of the 1993 Waco debacle which killed over 80 people on American soil, now four star General Schoomaker, commander of the joint mililtary U.S. Special Operation Forces at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida was assigned to put together the team of ABLE DANGER with four star General Schoomaker doing much of the hiring of the ABLE DANGER staff. I see in retrospect that starting several years ago that it was Congressman Curt Weldon (R-PA), a moderate Republican, who was the "whistleblower" concerning ABLE DANGER rather than Army Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer who was the liason between ABLE DANGER and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) as Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer appeared on radio many times and on TV with Congressman Curt Weldon. ABLE DANGER was described by both Congressman Weldon and Army Lt. Col. Shaffer as being an unclassified project as it used "open data" from the Internet available to anyone with Internet access. In retrospect, the way that ABLE DANGER was using the data in "data mining", it is fairly apparent that ABLE DANGER was a classified program which upset someone in the Department of Defense (then Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld - possibly and very likely, Chief of Staff of the United States Army Schoomaker - highly probable and quite likely as it was General Schoomaker's career at stake, or Cheney (himself a former Secretary of Defense) - possibly and very likely. What was ABLE DANGER whistleblower Congressman Curt Weldon (R-PA), a moderate, trying to accomplish revealing most likely a classified intelligence program which Congressman Weldon was personally responsible for being established. Congressman Weldon stated that he, Weldon, would stake his political career in trying to make the public aware of ABLE DANGER's findings which could have very well prevented, and most likely prevented 9-11 had not the "culture" have been instilled at the Department of Defense by Jaime Gorelick, which the culture of no Department of Defense involvement with individuals on American soil, and, had four star General Schoomaker been the one star general using his special ops background in 1993 at the Branch Davidian debacle which killed over 80 people on America soil using U.S. Army vehicles, tear gas, and other supplies where General Schoomaker was the advisor to then Texas Governor Ann Richards, Janet Reno (who has a degree in chemistry), the ATF, and the FBI including General Schoomaker planning the final fatal attack on the Branch Davidian compound near Waco, Texas which killed scores of people on American soil. General Schoomaker, had his own "culture of no involvement of U.S. armed forces being used against people on American soil" after the 1993 Waco debacle just as was the culture which Jaime Gorelick was instilling throughout the DoD as soon as she became the DoD's general counsel immediately after the 1993 Branch Davidian Compound debacle. Congressman Curt Weldon (R-PA) stated openly that he was willing to risk his political career on revealing that ABLE DANGER could have prevented 9-11 while the 9-11 Commission ignored ABLE DANGER's findings. Congressman Curt Weldon stated that he was threatened if he went public with ABLE DANGER's findings including receiving no financial support for his 2006 re-election campaign (and the Republican Party cut off funding Congressman Curt Weldon in October, 2006 in his bid for re-election), and, the Republican Party further threatened Congressman Curt Weldon that he would lose all seniority in Congress. At the time Congressman Weldon was the assistant chairman of the House Armed Services Committee and the assistant chairman of the Homeland Security Committee. Obviously Weldon was quite senior in the Republican Party, and, it would be almost unthinkable for such a senior Congressman like Congressman Weldon to receive threats from "higher ups" in the Republican Party if he went public with ABLE DANGER. Congressman Curt Weldon (R-PA) felt that the citizens of the United States of America deserved to know that 9-11 pilot and ring leader Mohammed Atta was identified by ABLE DANGER as a dangerous member of al Qa'eda living inside of the United States as early as November, 1999 and by March, 2000 that ABLE DANGER had identified four of the 9-11 pilots were living inside of the United States and were dangerous members of al Qa'eda along with ABLE DANGER identifying two of the three cells al Qa'eda cells involved in 9-11 as already being inside of the United States by very early 2001. ABLE DANGER had no idea what al Qa'eda was up to; however, the commander of the joint military unit ABLE DANGER, a Navy Captain, felt that danger was imminent. Three times in the year of 2000, Army Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer set up meetings with the FBI to discuss this threat inside of the United States. Three times a senior general at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida and the JAG attorneys for the U.S. Special Operations Forces prevented these meetings with a final warning from a superior general to Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer that any further attempt to contact the FBI by the military concerning persons on American soil would result in stiff action against Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer. There were only two generals in the chain of command in ABLE DANGER, a Major General Lambert, J3,and the four star General Schoomaker who was the commander of the U.S. Special Operations Command at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. It has not been identified publically which of these two generals gave the order not to contact the FBI any additional times to Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer. In the last year or two, through the official military chain of command, the Navy Captain who commanded ABLE DANGER and a civilian contractor have all backed up Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer's comments on ABLE DANGER including the presentation to a "general" at the U.S. Special Operations Command the organizational structure and pictures of the al Qa'eda members in the two identified cells including a picture of Mohammed Atta. The unidentified "general" in the recently completed investigation of ABLE DANGER says that he has no recall on this matter. Post 9-11, this organization chart of al Qa'eda members in the cells involved in the 9-11 hijackings including a picture of Mohammed Atta was given by Congressman Curt Weldon to then Deputy National Security Advisor Steven Hadley, now National Security Advisor, to be investigated. Then Deputy National Security Advisor took possession of the only formal organization chart of al Qa'eda cells being tracked by ABLE DANGER complete with pictures. This DoD official has no recall on the specifics of the chart particularly on Mohammed Atta. Late in the calendar year 2000, four star General Schoomaker retired from his position as commander of the U.S. Special Operations Command at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. Prior to his retirement, a Major showed up with orders to destroy ABLE DANGER's 20 tera bytes of computer information stating that the information needed to be destroyed to prevent another "Branch Davidian Compound". According to Army Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer, after the 20 tera bytes of ABLE DANGER data was destroyed without proper documentation as required by military regulations, the Major General in the chain of command between ABLE DANGER and U.S. Special Operations Command commander four star General Schoomaker became angry when the Major General found out that the 20 tera bytes of information of ABLE DANGER data was destroyed without the Major General's knowledge as the Major General was the immediate general officer above ABLE DANGER in the chain of command. Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer went back to his job at the DIA and upon the invasion of Afghanistan in 2002 in reaction to 9-11, Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer was sent to Afghanistan as an intelligence officer to serve a tour of duty. Toward the end of his Afghanistan tour of duty the 9-11 Commission Chief of Staff, who was and is the long time friend of Condi Rice and current right hand man of Condi Rice at the State Department, visited Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer in Afghanistan where Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer told the 9-11 Commission Chief of Staff in his investigation on 9-11 all about the late 1999 to early 2000 discovery of Mohammed Atta and three other 9-11 hijack pilots in the "Brooklyn Cell" who were living in Brooklyn, New York at the time. Army intelligence officer and DIA employee Lt. Col. Shaffer went on to tell the 9-11 Commission Chief of Staff who was on a 9-11 fact finding mission about all of the other data that ABLE DANGER had on the two al Qa'eda cells that they were tracking in the United States using "open source" Internet information mainly drawn from Arabic Internet sites and "data mined" by super computers. While being interviewed in Afghanistan by the 9-11 Commission's Chief of Staff, Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer thought that he hit a home run because the investigator for the 9-11 Commissions started making calls to Washington, D.C. at 4:30
AM Washington, D.C. time. Then, Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer said that in his role as liason between ABLE DANGER at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida and with the Defense Intelligence Agency (as Shaffer was a DIA employee) in the Washington, D.C. area that Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer no longer had the chart with the pictures of the al Qa'eda organizations which ABLE DANGER was tracking inside the United States; however, Anthony Shaffer told the 9-11 Commission Chief of Staff that he had a backup copy of the 20 tera bytes of information on ABLE DANGER, the same data previously destroyed undocumented in 2000 for the reason to prevent a "Branch Davidian Compound" at his DIA office as ABLE DANGER was a joint U.S. Special Operations Command/DIA project where Lt. Col. Shaffer was the liason between the two intelligence agencies and the "keeper" of the intelligence data both at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida for ABLE DANGER and at the DIA. When Army Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer returned to the United States to resume his job at the DIA, without notice, Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer was sent back to Afghanistan almost immediately to serve back to back intelligence tours in Afghanistan lasting into 2003 when retired Army General Schoomaker was brought out of retirement to become the Chief of Staff of the United States Army in 2003. Upon Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer's return from his second consecutive tour of Afghanistan and with General Schoomaker back on active Army duty, Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer found that the 20 tera bytes of ABLE DANGER left in his safe keeping at the DIA had been destroyed without any documentation. Further, the military career of Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer was threatened with various charges and an officer efficiency report written meant to ruin the career of Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer. ABLE DANGER was not mentioned in the 9-11 Commission for being "historically unimportant" including three different stories from the 9-11 Commission why ABLE DANGER was not mentioned in the 9-11 Commission Report; although, ABLE DANGER had identified four of the pilots who turned out to be hijackers living inside the United States of America well over a year before 9-11 and attempted on three occasions to relay this information to the FBI but were stopped by military superiors who most likely were suffering from the "culture of the Branch Davidian Compound" as General Schoomaker in ABLE DANGER's chain of command was the senior government official and planner of the raid on the Branch Davidian Compound. Several months ago, the ABLE DANGER Commission found that the [in my words] career of an Army officer had been mishandled along with improper destruction and poor record keeping of the destruction of the 20 tera bytes of ABLE DANGER information in 2000 along with poor record keeping of the destruction of the backup set of 20 tera bytes of ABLE DANGER information in 2003. The ABLE DANGER commission further stated that this was the last chapter on ABLE DANGER as the general in question could not recall anything on ABLE DANGER and all of ABLE DANGER's record had been destroyed during current Chief of Staff of the United States Army General Schoomaker's watch. In late September or early October, 2006 in an interview given by former president Clinton to newsman Wallace, Clinton mentioned only one Republican Congressman in the entire interview which was Congressman Curt Weldon and Clinton said that they were trying to defeat veteran Congressman Curt Weldon in his re-election bid. Why did Bill Clinton only single out Congressman Curt Weldon. To top it all off, the Bush Justice Department announced in mid October, 2006 several weeks before the election that Congressman Curt Weldon (R-PA) had been under investigation by the FBI for some time without Congressman Curt Weldon's knowledge right as the elections were approaching and right in the middle of the Democrat Party's main theme being that the Republican Party was operating under the culture of corruption. As promised over a year before, the Republican Party cut off all funding for senior Congressman Curt Weldon's re-election campaign in October, 2006. What is so ironic is that a week after the Noverber 7, 2006 elections, the Bush Justice Department announced that they have been investigating a Democrat Senator. Quite obviously, the Republican leadership, or lack thereof, was trying to take out their own Republican Congressman Curt Weldon and accomplished this. Now, former president Clinton wanted to take out Congressman Curt Weldon to try to preserve his legacy as if the real story of ABLE DANGER got out, then, the 9-11 hijackers had been located by ABLE DANGER about 1 1/2 years before 9-11 but were prevented by an Army general from contacting the FBI. That happened on Clinton's watch. While ABLE DANGER was being disbanded as President Bush was taking office, so many of the 9-11 hijacker pilots were known to be living in the United States already under Bush's watch. The "culture of the Branch Davidian Compound" as fostered by Army General Schoomaker and damage control artist Jaime Gorelick. And, conservative pundits thought that Jaime Gorelick was on the 9-11 Commission because of the Gorelick wall when it was Jaime Gorelick hired to be "damage control" for the Clinton administration as general counsel at the DoD immediately after the botched General Schoomaker led attack on the Branch Davidian Compound. It was the "culture of the Branch Davidian Compound" which was the Pathway to 9-11.

The Democrats and Republicans had a common interest in getting rid of senior Republican Congressman Curt Weldon to rid them both of the ABLE DANGER legacy. Rewriting history.
