2008 is for the Republicans to lose depending upon who they nominate. I, personally, don't like any favorite for 2008; however, McCain and particularly Giuliani could easily beat Hillary in 2008. Giuliani, as a Republican, could beat anyone, including God, in the state of New York in 2008 for President.

Now, Newt, who I am no fan of either, is showing fairly strong right now running third in a tight three way race for the Republican nomination.

McCain, Giuliani, Newt, Allen, etc... all have baggage just as would Hillary, or, even the populist Obama has his share of baggage for any primary run and final run for 2008.
