Anyone watching Nancy Pelosi's behavior and listening to her comments in the months prior to her election could tell that she had one plan if she succeeded in getting into office - continual, maximum media exposure for herself. Politics merely provides her a stage for pursuing her "Hey, look at me!" agenda. If you expect her to ever do anything that puts the needs and wishes of others ahead of that agenda, you're in for a huge disappointment. Yup - the Syrian visit was bizarre and its purpose was.... who knows? Remember that you heard this here first; you haven't seen anything yet. She's just getting warmed up. Before her turn in the spotlight ends, she will give new meaning to "grandstanding". And, America will be worse off for her antics.
