Rethinking Pelosi's Visit, British Naval Discipline

Submitted by Ralph Jameson, Apr 8, 2007 12:08

I strongly disagree with the implications that it is preferable to avoid communication and dialog with an "enemy". When I was in school 40 years ago, we were encouraged to negotiate with or "make nice" with the school bully OR to use the proper channels to deal with this type of individual and behavior. We are reading, seemingly with greater frequency, gun related incidents in the public schools. Why? One possible explanation is in the examples set forth by the "adults".... the aging baby boomers. Why "make nice" when you can destroy a civilization, a culture, traditions, and murder individuals who have very little to do with the government of their nation(s). Heaven knows just how successful this administration has been at not "making nice" by keeping the door closed on dipolomacy and initiating dialog. I'm glad to see real and patriotic Americans waking up.
