High-Tech 'Poppins' Falls Flat

but the Mary Poppins I saw (at the NEW AMSTERDAM THEATRE, not the Hilton as erroniously reported) was a joyous, fun-filled show. There wasn't a person in the audience who didin't have a smile on their face leaving the theatre.
As far as the direction this show took, well what do you expect? It's a Disney musical. I didn't see the London production which I hear is much darker. But there isn't a sense that it's all sunshine and lollipops in this production either.

A show worth seeing and your kids will love it!
