Functioning democracies survive due to constant critical scrutiny. The Iraq invasion was premised on "weapons of mass destruction" that was proven to be non-existent, but the Western media still hide the fact that the war was premised on flawed, at best intelligence, but more worrying is, deception, which further isolates the West from the rest of the World. In the meantime, China has grown to be the next Mega Superpower, with India closely following, and the East Asian region will shape the future of international policies. The West has lost the moral high grounds, and with aggrandizement at Corporate America, we'd better wise up and start listening to the rest of the world. After all, they are providing the West, and in particular the Americans, most of the goodies, from cars to fridges to computers to food and you name it! About the only goods the West produces are, truly, weapons and weapons of mass destructions! Go figure!
