THAAD on Target

Fortunately former President Ronald Reagan's STAR WARS legacy again proves itself, someday when
we kill a hostile ICBM heading at the USA, whether it be an exo-atmospheric intercepy (kill) or not, Americans will owe their lives and the lives of their children to the skill, hardwork and cooperation between the US military and the civilian contractors who've again proved we can hit a bullet with a bullet. The trick now is to keep the Chinese from stealing all this informtion. If congress is really serious about protecting US top secret information, apart from people like Sandy Burger, let them re-instate the death penalty for treason.

There are thousands of Chinese, Russian, Cuban et al spies in the USA working to steal what our engineers have developed at the cost of billions of US taxpayer dollars. The recent case of the top secret US Navy submarine and carrier technical specs information stolen by Chinese spies in CA, proves this is a serious and long standing issue which we MUST come to grips with right NOW! The issue is ongoing,
the case of the theft of the specs for the M-88 nuclear warhead is another prime example.

The US Navy's Aegis system deployed on Arleigh Burke DDs and Ticonderoga class cruisers and the Standard Mk III anti-air missile is an example of THAAD, Theatre High Altitude Area Defense, it is an exo-atmospheric interceptor. At present, several of these warships are based in Yokosuka, Japan and are meant to protect Japan and US forces stationed there against North Korean IRBMs. Longer range ICBM interceptors are based at Fort Greeley, Alaska. They too, are part of the STAR WARS heritage and are
part and parcel of the US efforts to protect our nation.

By the way, the Russians have recently installed a ring of their new very effective S-400 interceptor missile systems around Moscow. The Russians say their Trimpf S-400 air defense system is as good as the US Patriot III system. They've already sold S-300 systems to Syria and Iran......
