All of the universities that "suppoet" the Mayor's reforms have vetsed business interests in remaining on the City's side as they reciece huge contracts from the Mayor and Chancellor who run education under this failed experiment in Mayoral control. Why didn't you name the vice chairman of the Fund for Public Schools- it is Mort Zuckermann who ows the Daily News and fellow member Wendy Murdoch is NY Post owner Rupert Murdoch's wife ... The media is firmly in Bloomberg's palm and his complaining aginst the media is a way to make him look like a reformer-he is out to do nothing but privatize the education system and mostr of the media supports this is a way of getting the private sector's hands the large amount of public money spent on education.
