Instead of using the occasion to discuss the realities of the rent structure at Starret City in Brooklyn, the Sun launches into a theoretical discussion of rent control-rent stabilization plus an attack on both Republican and Democratic political elites.
It is most unusual for both the Dems and Republicians to be on the same page with respect to a huge housing issue, 6,000 affordable housing units.
Has the Sun investigated how many, if any, tenants will be displaced by the proposed sale? Regular readers of the Sun expect more than longwinded exortations on the free market and private enterprise. Please give us the facts and less ideology.
