Here's the thing. They can't please all the people all the time. We the people are sick to death of political pandering.

To truly govern, politicians need to take a stand one way or the other. It would be exceptionally nice if they took the stand to which they themselves actually adhere. Or, perhaps, they have no idea what they stand for. Anything, apparently, as long as it gets them elected.

If their stand costs them the election, then they apparently do not understand what the people want and they SHOULD lose the election.

After all, they are supposed to represent the majority of the people, no?
