If you really look at the last election, part of it was about Iraq. Most of the Dems that won were more on the conservative side than the Liberal side. Some of the issues were Rep excessive spending, people being shorsighted in thinking the war is taking too long, Bush's mistakes in the war in Iraq. Look what has passed through Congress so far this year. Not much. The minimum wage still isn't law. The majority in Congdress is BARELY a majority. Bush has a higher approval rating than Congress (38% to 33%).
