Being a George W. Bush supporter is a lonely job.

Lone wolves.

Mavericks.

That's us!

I do believe, like Truman, and Reagan, history will see him in a far better light

than the short term, flash in the pan, and instant media pundits do right now. He's

easy to dislike. Moreover, he doesn't seem to care much if he is hated.

He has work to do beyond a poll number.

I hate the fact he has led the GOP into a muddled amnesty policy plan (again).

I hate it when he praises Ted Kennedy on anything.

I hate it when he fails to use the bully pulpit he has, a lot better.

I hate it when he doesn't communicate w/the public better about

the Iraq War progress, and reasons for the War (again & again).

I hate it when he looks around him and sees Republicans without

spines to back him up.

Alas, I support the man on the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars, Fight against Terrorism,

Anti-Abortion stand, Tax Cuts (mild as they were and are), Embryonic Stem Cell position,

Roberts & Alito (Meier who?), Pro-2nd Amendment stand, and he looks darn good in

a cowboy hat. Can't beat that.

I see Pelosi, Reid, Kennedy, Clinton, Sharpton, and the gang...backed up by Hollywood, Michael

Moore, the EU, UN, and the liberal press majority....and I cringe at what they think of, write about,

and believe about George W. Bush.

All the more reason to like the man - he handles their hate and disdain with more class than

they deserve.
