Amongst the very first Jews to be gassed at Auschwitz were french Jews deported in march 1942,, so much for resistance by the the Vichy government to surrender its Jews to the Nazi extermination machine.

Even whilst Paris was being liberated by the American/ French consortium of troops in August 1944, the last train full of Jews was prepared,loaded and sent of towards the death camps.

Only 2000 of the 75,000 returned to the Hotel Lutezia after the war Tobe graded as pariahs. Read Simone Weill's testimony.

The Vichy apologists then tried to sanitize their deportation figures by claiming that only a small proportion of French Jews had been deported . They committed the vast majority who had been stripped of their french nationality by the Vichy regime. and therefore did not qualify as "FRENCH".
