France's New Surrender

This is such an uninformed and ridiculous article that it is even painful to comment...!

Many of the other comments are also priceless....!

America is a great Nation, with many checks and balances that protects its Democracy... Sometimes, it takes time to fix the problem, but the system works. In time, I'm confident that all this will blow over. In fact, most Americans I meet are educated and find all this French bashing quite silly.

The French have never been persecuted as a group, so most of us don't really care or know how to respond. France has its fair share of internal problems just as the US does. There is nothing new there!

It's just amazing that because the French would expand commercial and cultural ventures in The Emirates, just as the US and UK does, in fact following a very Anglo-Saxon philosophy that Commerce is the best way to prevent isolation and war, that it is "surrendering"...???? That's such complete non-sense!

What about the "Very American" Guggenheim Museum opening next door to the Louvre in the Emirates...?

The French want to promote their culture, just as much as the US does, or the UK.... Why is it so scary to people? Afterall, we're not a very big country so we shouldn't be much competition. We're just filling a niche!
