The Day They Talked About Landmarking a Topless Bar

Submitted by West Street Coalition, Apr 15, 2007 16:35

Although the article focuses on the topless bar currently there, this is actually the 1798 home of Augustine Hicks Lawrence, one of the 24 merchants who founded the NY Stock Exchange, and one of our City's founding fathers. There is no way on God's green earth this importnt part of our city's and nation's history should be razed.
