Some of what I am reading about Cho today suggest he was crazy not evil. There is a difference. Unfortunately, from what I have read, his crazines was there to be seen before he did this mass murder, but no real action was taken while there was still time. Telling someone who is insane to see a counselor is not action. He will not go. He does not see that he is crazy. I have read that his class writings showed he was unbalanced. I have read he set fire to a dorm room. I have read he stalked women. I have read he wrote about "debauchery" in his note, and that he may have been interested in Islam. I have read he wrote "ISMAEL AX" on his arm. The article includes the connection between these words and the Koran. I have read these things in the news, and do not know any facts myself. I have read a neighbor of his at his home said he did not respond to greetings. That seems an indication that he had problems years ago. Reports from the college say he was a loner. Add this lack of social behavior to his setting fire to a dorm room, stalking women, and his class room writings, and the signs he had mental problems can be seen over a very long period of time. An evil person could do such killings, but this man seems more insane than evil to me from what I have read.
