Excellent article. These journalistic templates (or assumptions regarding certain groups or classes of people) are no different in any way from the assumptions made by the worlds worst racists about the historic objects of their scorn.

Guilty of being male, white, a jock and successfull.

All those selfish white males must be the same. Lets make an example of them.

Worse yet, lets create a bunch of bigoted "White studies" programs to teach all our children that all Whites - especially, all successfull, corporate, male, jock whites - deserve to be assumed evil and put in their place at every opportunity. Its because whites are born morally inferior - don't you see?
