Of course the greatest massacre in American history involved the use of four airplanes, so it makes sense to ban aircraft since 3,000 died in a matter of two hours at the hands of 19 hijackers on 9/11.

Gun control is a diversion from the real issue of how society deals with sociopaths, psychopaths, and other misfits when the warning bells are going off all over the place but those in authority, as at Virginia Tech, do not intervene lest they be accused of violating the "rights" of someone who is a ticking time bomb as was the case here, and in most of these examples of people who have lost touch with reality.
