All that was needed during the shooting spree was one respondsible armed person in the class room who would have stopped him and saved dozens of lives. The current laws are more than suffice to keep arms out of responsible citizens hands. The facts support that arms in the hands of respondsible people lowers crime and could have (and more than likely would have) suppressed CHO's willingness to go on a shooting spree. I believe from what has been reported thus far, that he new he could suceed in doing what he had done. He new the students would be unarmed and the police would be ineffective I providing protection.
