It is hard to believe that anyone, especially politicians, would not know that a trip to Cuba is prohibited unless special permission is received. I think the two politicans mentioned should be called before Congress, under oath, and ask to repeat their answer about not knowing it was illegal. This is about as important for Congress to consider as whether a few political appointees could be unappointed by the person who appointed them. It is time for Congress to actually work and deal with the important issues such as health care, social security, medicare, and other issues that are the responsibility of Congress not foreign policey.
