We have basic human rights. Indeed we enshrine them. But freedoms are the reward of a functional society as far as I am concerned. Society requires responsibility by it's citizenry in order to be functional.

American society is becoming disfunctional, indeed Western culture is becoming disfunctional. By indulging our freedoms without responsibility we risk losing our rights, our country and our culture.
