I am not so exercised about Union dues being spent on politics, just as Corporations bundle contributions.
Although, sure, if the money was contributed voluntarily that would be way better. But what annoys me is when gov't employee unions spend money on politics. This is a conflict of interest. Let gov't employees spend their own money on politics, no one objects to that. But the conveyer belt where our tax dollars are stripped away from worker paychecks, go to the Union and then are spent to support candidates who raise our taxes to increase the pay of gov't workers....hey! Bad form!
