You are missing the point that the pullution of toxic stew that is the Gowanus Canal is a major factor in the premature death of this mammal. Use these examples of man's impact on our environment for exposing the miserable pollution levels we accept everyday,(air, water soil) NY has left a substantial ecological footprint. Just ask Sludgie
