2008 Candidates Show Affinity for Atomic Energy

It seems that every four years, that ugly word seems to rear its head. A word that will create unpopularity among a candidates following. After much negative politiicization, the word is dismissed as a whim, and buried for another four years. What word is that you may ask? NUCLEAR of course. As a fisherman would cast a lure just to see what bites he may get, once again, we do a 360 degree turn and re-enter the concept into mainstream public.

Ever since SHOREHAM was built and soon dismantled, a taboo on everything pertaining to nuclear has been harshly criticized. In order for future nuclear development to begin, rigid overseeing of the project must be maintained not only to prevent major cost overuns from occuring, but also to ensure the end product will be safe and economically sound. I have from reliable sources, been told that SHOREHAM was rediculously mis managed . SECURITY, there was very little. UNIONS, in order to extend time an wage earnings, use to deliberately, damage materials in order to keep the project extended, time wise. Then there is the matter of WASTE. It seems that ever since SENATOR REID was elected, YUCCA FLATS IS OFF LIMITS.There is no doubt, NUCLEAR ENERGY is the only way possible, short of having AMERICANS CONSUME LESS ENERGY, and that will never occur, in my lifetime at least. I was also told that the FRENCH GOVERNMENT is able to break down this waste, and re-use it for other things . In fact we are shipping, apparantly UNBEKNOWNST TO MANY, in double lined hull ships, waste to FRANCE, for conversion into useful by- products. It is then shipped back to U.S.

Sincerely,

Civility
