The middle eastern gentile arab, al Arian, will now physically/mentally know what the american jew Pollard has endured for 25 years. And no amount of agitation mitigates, ameliorates conditions. It doesn't matter what actions those who are concerned about their respective fates say or do. The die is cast. There is no justice in the rule of man's law, whether in a capitalistic democracy or an autocratic theocracy.

Each of the above-cited men chose to "believe" what the representatives of government institutions said. And remember, it is only the john doe public population that has to swear to "tell the truth and nothing but the truth"; representatives of government institutions are apparently not bound by that condition. They prevaricate.

Once each of the above (i.e. the gentile arab and the jew) had pled guilty to one count, the representatives of the government institutions had what they needed to do what they wanted to do with them. In Pollard's case, they tortured him, threw him into isolation, etc., and threw away the key. In al Arian's case, they'll probably do the same.

In both cases it the gentile "hatred" of the spiritual issues each of these two men represent, that brought the two men, one a gentile and one a jew; the observors nationally and globally, to this point in time. Tthe gentile muslim arab represents to the non-muslim gentiles, the worship of the pagan god Ba'al, embodied in the tenets of the Koran (i.e. the chopping off of heads of jews and christians, chopping off of hands, feet of transgressors of their horrific sharia laws; sacrificing of their children to the demands of their violent, hatemongering god). The jew represents, to the gentile, the worship of, and accountability to, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Who had a plan: He picked a land; He chose a people; He gave His Word, Who became flesh and dwelt amongst man; as recorded in the tenets of the judeo-christian Torah/Bible.

When the gentiles "bless" the seed of Abraham through Isaac and Jacob, life becomes "blessed" for the gentiles. When the gentiles "curse" the seed of Abraham through Isaac and Jacob, life becomes "cursed" for the gentiles (read Genesis 12:3)
