While I applaud any suspicion of whole hearted corn ethanol policy. I truely believe that we will need ethanol in our transportation future. Corn is step one on a path to crops that are not food and are not as inefficient. These tools also needed to be envisioned along with a vast increase in efficiency so that the projected 3-7% of our fuel can be 6-14% with a doubling of fuel economy.

New York State needs to keep its hand in the rapidly evolving ethanol market.
