The Saudi royal family has been playing the West (the infidels) for the bunch of suckers we are. Just imagine yourself in their position for a moment. Do you think you might engage in a bit of forward planning for when the oil runs out and the basis of your fabulous wealth is gone? How might you secure a future similar to that to which you have become accustomed? Perhaps you might buy influence around the world and convert as many people as possible to the view that Islam is the one true faith and the proper basis of all law; that Saudi Arabia is the spiritual home of this faith and should benefit from your total support. You might buy real estate and other assets so that you could continue to enjoy an income off the backs of the infidels. Those Saudi princes might look like a bunch of playboys but they can afford to pay highly skilled advisors.
