Mr. Pipes is absolutely right on the money. There is no way to learn Arabic without having to swallow a good dose of pan-Arabic Islamofascism. It's just the way their societies are set up, wherein religion, culture and political ideologies are intertwined and are one and the same. In England they already have lots of problems with Arabic schools spreading the word of Allah and the tenets of Sharia law, with incredible ripercussions throughout British society. We do not need that here. Sure, one has to be civilized and open-minded, but not stupid.
