This is all about politics. Not about guns. You want to prevent sensless death? How about make cigarettes illegal. How about cars? "If it saves jut one life" is usually the argument. Well? How about it?
17 years ago right here in NYC. Mass murder. Before the first WTC bombing. Before Oklahoma City. Not a shot fired. 87 dead. The weapon? A gallon of gasoline and a match. It was horrible. But it seems well forgotten. 87 people killed. No calls to ban gasoline, or licence its access.
Here's an excuse to ban cars. NOBODY is outraged that 40,000 people die each year on American roads. EVERY YEAR. The politicians are silent. Why is that?
