Welcome Back: Bears Return To Take On Surging Jets
in response to reader comment: The Big Bad Bears

The Bears can't stop the run, so if the Jets keep pounding the ball and throw quick short passes, they can put points on the board. If they can avoid the turnovers, I think they'll win. As I said in my preview, the strong play of the offensive line -- particularly rookies D'Brickshaw Ferguson and Nick Mangold -- is extremely encouraging.

If you watch film of the Bears over their first five or six games, you see that they put points on the board by throwing the ball early, forcing other teams out of their running game. The Bears thrive on rushing the passer and playing aggresive with their hard hitting cornerbacks. The best way to take them out of that game is to run the ball riht at them.
