Mr. Moody is right on. Anyone with a rudimentary knowledge of economics knows that high taxes are destructive in so many ways. Especially to those of us who are forced to subsidize others at the expense of ourselves. Unfortunately, in this city there are too many do-nots and too few doers (Thomas Sowell's apt terms) and the politicians like it that way to maintain their power. And until we eliminate our socialist government and break the subsidy cyle, that will never change.
