All valid points. This is why the right to self-defense is a precondition for society's tolerance of people who _might_ be dangerous.

Unfortunately, some people believe that to avoid both self-defense and the stigmatization of the mentally ill we ought to impose insane-asylum rules and regulations upon all of society.
