Olympic Committee Faces Questions on China's Rights Record

These activists choose to focus on China's trade with Darfur. For starters, those weapons they used were made in the west, those soldiers were directly or indirectly trained by the CIA. More people die in Africa everyday as a result of American sanctions than Darfur (look it up), I don't see those "activists" having any issue with them. But China, on the other hand, is the big obstacle in your quest to put yet another sanction on an African country, so they could say good bye to having a stable economy. (and don't even mention these aid groups, they are a story generator for the media but really, how good are a few volunteers good at building roads, bridges, schools and businesses in even a small country?) Mia Farrow just found a way of getting some desperately needed attention from the media without risk of getting labeled a terrorist. As for the French candidate, they simply found story to let them wear the "humanitarian activist" hat without pissing off the Americans.
