But Dr. Friedman didn't believe in the social compact that we give to government the power to tax to benefit all.There the use of force is not the same as in dictatorships .Government restricts smoking to protect the right of health of non-smokers. Vouchers do not really work as experience shows. He was right on free trade,but there should be worker and enviornmental protections in trade treaties and training for workers. He was right to want the professional army.Did he support the ACLU ? With the growth of goverenment real liberties have grown. And to change the subject, to Michael Greiser, no one begs the question as the attributes are the one commonly stated and one can add or delete attributes.
