If one listens to a recording of Orson Wells' classic radioplay version of H.G. Wells' "War Of The World" he will hear something telling near the end of the show. A pilot decides to crash his plane into one of the invading Martian space ships. Perhaps we need to give historical credit to Wells in suggesting the future tactics of the Japanese Special Attack Squadrons who carried out the "Kami Kaze" (Divine Wind) attacks on our ships and installations during the Pacific War.
