MESA gets four academics, all of whom accept PC lies about Israel, in order to debate whether or not Israeli academe should be be boycotted... The two who reject the boycott do not defend Israel, only object to academic boycotts. In the 'apartheid' State of Israel I teach at a University 20% of whose students are Arabs, and where the Dean of Research (among many other colleagues) is an Arab (and no Zionist); I swim daily in a pool with Jews and Arabs together; I eat at kosher restaurants, not only staffed, but owned, by Arabs; if I should be hospitalized I would very likely be treated by Arab physicians and nurses; I am treated to regular anti-Israel diatribes by Arab members of my parliament. To use the word 'apartheid' in this context is to betray breathtaking shallowness of thinking, not to mention downright prejudice. And yes, some (but not all) critics of Israel are indeed anti-Semites.
