Mr. Bolton's comments on the UN vis-à-vis the Israeli-Palestinian conflict are remarkably blunt and to the point. He sees the UN for what it is, a discredited organization of special interests, many which are non-democratic regimes. Its record on permitting peace and civility is abysmal where Muslins touch Non-Muslims, southwestern Europe (the Balkans), in Darfur and other parts of sub-Saharan Africa, and in what UN disposition of the British mandate that was formerly Palestine (1948). Bolton is a strong force for holding the UN's ‘feet to the fire'. Anything less is a disregard for the charter of the UN, the promotion of peace and stability in all nations.
