Iraq's WMD Secreted in Syria, Sada Says

Submitted by Michael, Apr 30, 2007 18:22

So what if Sadam had WMDs. Sadam was contained within his borders and was more interested in preserving his power than in committing suicide. He knew what the outcome would be, but the Neo-conservatives pushed him into a corner of either declaring that he had or did not have WMDs, thus showing Sadam's military weakness to the Iranians and an excuse for the USA to invade. The Iraqis are worse off today than they were before. I would have given Sadam's regime less than five years before its collapse and eventual civil war and it would have saved the USA lives and treasure. Ask yourself who has benefited the most from the open check policy which the Bush administration has allowed to take place and maybe you will see a connection between Halliburton and former CEO-Dick Cheney.
