Clinton and Obama Raiding Donors Who Backed Bush

Submitted by joseph racanelli, May 1, 2007 00:35

Well Let's see,

When was he last time anyone remembers an ADMINISTRATION, or CONGRESS, placed the AMERICAN PEOPLE FIRST, not  there own respective parties? I cannot  remember, can anyone? We, the people, donate to the candidates of our choice, believing that NEXT TIME AROUND, that things will be different. We go to the ballot box and choose our new leader, our KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOUR. They're thinking of us  alright. Their thinking of how they will introduce bills, word them in such a way we will be unable to understand, but telling us at the same time , this bill will make things right for everyone, when in reality, it's just another parlor trick. Meanwhile, any bill which may have merit, is soon watered down by the minority by the use of AMMENDMENTS and EARMARKS. These  LEGISLATORS we keep voting in don't make things better for hard working  AMERICANS. They know, as SENATOR KENNEDY, SENATOR BIRD, SENATOR LEIGHY, SENATOR SPECTOR, and others,  can manipulate any bill in their favor. Some will go on and form or work for powerful LOBBYING  groups and make tons of money after they have helped ruin our GOVERNMENT.Get the picture yet?

We all want adequate health insurance, excellent schools for children, schools of higher learning, and in short, a decent job to support our families. Not to mention,  aid for the poor, a chicken in every pot, a safe environment and country. Go to the library, look up bills that your local, state, and federal officials have passed for us.You won't understand them. Why have the jobs gone away? Why are our Univerities and Colleges, teaching predominately, SOCIAL VALUES instead of  our civil liberties, which are ours because of our CONSTITUTION? Why are  Jewish and Christian symbols being removed from public institutions. How long,  can the  FIRST AMMENDMENT,  stand up to the scrutiny of people who would see this great REPUBLIC of ours stand before we fall and are broken, as Rome, Greece, and many great countries have been already.   These rights are being replaced, by individuals who wish not to offend others, rather they place unbearable burdens on Americans. The answer is quite simple. Demand  that the local, state and federal  electorates serve only two terms instead of 10 or 20. Make campaign finance laws to fit everyone, not just the rich. Make our teachers more accountable. Remove entititlement programs that have been on  the books for years, but do not work. Demand our borders be tightened up. Make the courts serve the victim, not the criminal. These are very few in nuber, but they can be a NEW BEGINNING FOR AMERICANS. YOU CAN FOOL ALL OF THE PEOPLE SOME OF THE TIME, SOME OF THE PEOPLE ALL OF THE TIME, BUT NEVER ALL OF THE PEOPLE ALL OF THE TIME. WHO SAYS?

                                                        Sincerely,

                                                         Civility
