Wrong Cop on Middle East Beat

I agree. You make the situation so clear and it's obviously so vital-I feel like volunteering for something. With the current lose at any price political climate, it's hard to see how to go forward. It depresses me that the critical press is so dominant , even our brilliant Secretary of State kowtows. This fine article will likely only reach the choir. What happened to, " politics ends at thewater's edge" ? Of course, even our war of independence was not unconflicted. Fortunately Britain was also at odds with herself, so we had an easy go of it. Where is the conflict in the press? It seems orchestrated by a must lose agenda. Can we really afford to lose this "WAR" for the sake ofthe fortunes of politicians and journalists? Starting with our own professional state department, might be a way forward to a cleaner aspiration. I fear we will have to wait for a new -walk on water- leader.

Thank you, Keep it up. Dennis Crane
