This article did a good job of propogating the notion that Israel is a pariah state. Rather than cover an unnewsworthy meeting of anti-Israelis of various stripes, it might have been more interesting to ask people involved in the boycott why it is that Israeli academics (most of them leftwing opponents of occupation) are boycotted while researchers from Russia (which leveled Muslim Chechniya) or Sudan (which is genociding hundreds of thousands of Africans) are not.
