"Art is a portrayal of beauty--to my way of thinking..." Alas, your way of thinking is deeply flawed, narrowminded and obtuse, as any gander at art's actual history would quickly show. Perhaps you ought to spend some at the Brooklyn Museum looking at art, much of which is horriffic, ugly, disturbing and nonetheless profoundly moving for it. You are an example of why Mr. Lehman's "give the people what they want" philosophy is so stupid.
