Indeed, developements have taken a turn for the worst. Now that the neocons have been discredited, the terrorists are preparing for the invasion of Spain. Truly a turn for the worse in the war on terrorism. If the Democrats are smart they will appoint Tom Delay to advise Nancy Pelosi and reinstate Rumsfeld. Perhaps a fence around Spain might be in order as well.

On the other hand, it's possible that the emotion state of the terrorists is not a relevant talking point right now. If we are able to make them very uncomfortable in the future, the invasion of Spain may be avoided. Using fear and half truths, as conservatives are prone to do, accomplishes more of what they have already accomplished. The sooner neocons are driven to the fringes with the skin heads and communists the better off our country will bee.
