I recently viewed a tape of Esmeralda. All I could think was; "This must have seemed 'Oh, so cute' when the mistress of the future Tzar Nicholas was dancing this role"! It even involed a baby goat. It turned out that the goat had been Matilda Kressinska's (sp.?) innovation and her pet. This is the chick who positively identified Anna Anderson has Anatasia.
