‘An Inconvenient Truth' For New Yorker Readers
in response to reader comment: A science teacher gives An Inconvenient Truth an F for phoney science

Submitted by Ben Goldman, Nov 20, 2006 14:34

Surely you will not also claim that the thousands of scientists who disagree with you are all engaged in 'fiction'. It is terribly easy to get just about anything published these days - with or without merit. We are left to believe that your failure to do so speaks not only to the probable invalidity of your argument, but also to your lack of skill and qualification. Throughout the last decade, the media has been largely skeptical of Global Warming - even hostile towards is. The attention paid to the issue now is not only past due, but deserved.
