I have been wondering for several years, what in the world was going on.

As I watched this thing unfurl with the grace and insight of my seven year old trying to play a strategy game, I just could not for the life of me figure out what was going on, who was making these choices, what their options were based on.

Now I see. It never occured to me that these folks would be making decisions based on what a group of madmen may think of us. Not sure about all the "cheering for the Democrats" sillyness, but I have never heard a progressive, liberal, democrat or any other the other boogie-man ever once claim that we needed to do something or not do something based on the will, opinions or reactions of the madmen.

I doubt this post will ever see the light of day as logic seemingly has no place in a discussion like this.
