I have watched Criminal Intent since it first started and I love it just as much as I always did. But when you put CI against House, which I have never seen, but which certainly benefits from the volume of audience that American Idol brings in, and then Dancing With The Stars, which unfortunately I have seen, what do you expect of CI. You have the best actor on television in Vincent D'Onofrio and an equally acting and character partner in Kathryn Erbe. You don't need ripped from the headline storylines or mega stars as guests, you need good writing and the good New York actors that Law & Order is famous for. I, for one, enjoy getting into the personal lives of the characters and have enjoyed that angle this season. It is with regret that I say that sex sells and that includes perverted sex crimes on SVU. Criminal Intent is smart television and it's too bad that American audiences have fallen to the lows of mediocre, so-called reality shows. It would be great to see NBC step up to the plate and retain quality on TV. Will it happen Mr. Zucker and Mr. Reilly? It's all up to you.
